I've been dating this guy for almost 3 months now, I asked my bf for his password for his myspace account. My sister and all my friends males and females told me that sharing passwords is the best way to get over jelousy involving myspace. He hesitated at first when I asked him for it, he asked me for time to think about it, then he gave it to me two days later, that was two days ago. Now I feel like I'm smothering him because he didn't ask me for my password. Should I go on with my sister's advise and log on to his account to check up on him? He is in the ARMY, he lives hours away from me, so we don't get to see much of eachother over the week. I have a feeling he is still meeting girls on that site. He says he loves me, and I care about him too. What should I do?

I feel that its out of line for someone to check their partners mail/myspace. If they are hiding something and know your checking it they will just work around it and contact people another way. If someone is going to cheat and go behind the back of their partner they will do it anyways. People should have some personal space, those who ask for passwords show an insecure and unattractive side to their partners. If someone asked for my password, I would see it as a red flag as to the nature of that person and how they are in relationships.

she went on his account and found sa TON of **** he was hiding from her.

they went out for 14 months.

she found out he was engaged.

and he was also in the army.

they were gunna move to goriga together cause he was on leave.

NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!! And not only that you should tell him that you didn't look and you would like him to change his password so that you won't know it. It is okay for people to have personel space in a relationship. If you have jealousy or suspicions that are based in facts that you already know, then you shouldn't be in the relationship because you're not mature enough to handle it.
