i have a myspace profile but its set to "friends only can see". this old guy who's 59 asked to be my friend. i looked at his profile and didnt recognize him so i sent him a message asking who he was. he replied that he " doesnt know me but liked my profile and rides motorcycles in his free time and would give me a ride ;) "
im totally creeped out. i blocked him, changed my screen name and everything but i know he saw my profile and what school i go to cuz he commented w/a pic of a cowboy on his horse kissing a girl. he lives in a town 20 min. away and i dont feel safe. what should i do about it? if i tell my parents they'll freak but i dont want to end up like kelsey smith...please help with some advice!

tell your parents
Myspace predator?
Please tell your parents, and remove any identifying information from your profile- Name, school, town, physical description. None of that should have been up there anyway. Have your parents contact MySpace to put this person on alert. He's probably harmless, but you can't be too careful.
Myspace predator?
please tell your parents you could be in a very dangerous situation its better than getting hurt.
Myspace predator?
If you are concerned, you need to tell someone that you trust!! Your parents may get mad, but they can only help protect you from this guy if they know what happened.
P.S. You should never put personal information (what school you go to or address) on the Internet. It is very dangerous!!
Myspace predator?
I would tell my parents because wouldnt you rather have your parents freak out than to have a creepy guy follow you arround and maybe try and hurt you. and your parents could call the police file a report and they will check his myspace and then you and no other person will have to worry about that creeper again!
Myspace predator?
Yes, your parents will freak. That is very understandable and that is the way parents are because we care for our children. You never put anything that will tell him your exact location. Tell your parents right away. Its better they react than you end up like Kelsey. You might should have saved the message he sent you so you can show that and his page to the correct authorities.
Go to the account settings on your home page, click on privacy and look down where it says block users and click "view list" he should be there. Show his page to them maybe someone can keep an eye on him and catch him.
