So....I like this guy, but his friends (the most popular guys in school) think im a freak?

Soo this guy ALWAYS stares at me in class, like i can feel him staring at me and when i look at him he just looks away really fast. And he does other little things that makes me think he likes me too. Hes a very nice guy and we have very similar interests (he keeps his profile on public view on myspace.) Im guessing hes very shy like me and hes not certain that i like him which is the reason he hasnt bothered to talk or ask me out. Sooo i would do it only i dont really like his friends and im scared of what they might tell him about me. Ive known them since forever becuase i had elementary school with them and they would always tease me for being so shy and stuff. What if he tells them that i asked him out and they laugh at me? Todays the last day of school for spring break, so should i add him on myspace? If i do what should i say? What about the friends situation? Should i do it or leave it alone?Im confuuuuuuuuused!?!?

Omg, you sound just like me. It sounds to me like he likes you. And If he really likes you, he's not going to care about what his friends say. And plus, I've learned from experience, his friends are probably only giving you a hard time because they like you too. Immature way of flirting, I guess. I'd say add him. Take a chance, what would it hurt? Send him a message on MySpace or something to get the conversation going. He's probably as shy as you are.

Don't worry what his friends think of you... If he likes you it wont matter what they think...

If you are still scared though, maybe you should just add him on myspace and talk to him a bit and see how things go... it wont be weird that may cause everyone adds each other on myspace...

Maybe you could get to know him a bit before you ask him out and see if you think he feels the same way

the funny thing about myspace is, people will accept you as a friend no matter if they actually think of you as a friend or not. so go ahead and add him, it might be an in so he can start thinking of you as a friend.

just start out with small talk, like whats up, your in my class or whatever, did we have any homework, what did you think about the teacher, etc.

his friends opinions do matter, but if he likes you, then he probably wont care what his friends think.

really, just go with your heart. but start out casual and such.
