So I dated a guy for 1 year and 3 months. We had a gay relationship and it was both our first ones. Our parents found out late in the relationship and it created a dramatic experience! Anyways we were so in love and I stood with him through all the drama we went through with our families. Now Im in college and the distance has killed us. We only communicated through email and occationally I would get a call from him because his mom was strict on not having us communicate. Just last week we got into an arguement and he broke up with me in such a rude way. We usually would work it out but he didnt want me anymore. So I got suspecious and I checked his myspace(which I never do) and found messages to another guy saying I love you and calling him babe 2 days after he left me. I was so heart broken but I still love him even though he doesnt know that. The guy that my ex left me for now doesnt want him. My question is should I email him a Happy B-day? He broke up w me last week!

I wouldn't. This guy hurt you and was probably crushing on this other guy while with you. I think its his just desserts that he got dumped. It's pretty crappy to fall for someone else, dump the one you are with and then tell someone else you love them right away. For someone to throw your emotions away like that, do you really think they deserve another chance? I'd be sure not to send a birthday card unless it said "I heard you got dumped. Doesn't feel that great now does it?"

You could, if you must to have some closure... maybe he is rethinking things but feels like a jerk contacting you after such a bad break-up. But if he doesn't respond to the BDay card I would not contact him any further. I would keep the card real casual - as he is the one that needs to beg you to get back in your good graces, not the other way around. If he doesn't then he isn't worth your time! Why do you want someone that does not want you? He broke up with you in a rude way, now you want to email him and tell him happy birthday? Please!!! Don't come off as desperate. Move on and find a guy that appreciate you for who you are. Don't give this guy power over you. Don't sit around and wait for someone to come back to you. If he wants you back, he will call you. i think tjat you should e-mail him and say happy birthday beause it takes the bigger person to put aside your differences and wish him a happy birthday. you don't stop loving someone in a week. besides what goes around comes back around. he got to see how you felt already. so its ok to be the better man. and good luck with you guys

The breakup of this realitionship is still fresh and you got to remember that he broke it off with you. No matter how much you still care for this person. You just can't do this. It's going to be more heartache for you. Also, what he is going through is what he deserves since doing this to you. Besides it opens doors to meet new people since he free. I'm sorry about your break up and all that comes with it. But you got to NOT send him an e-mail birthday card. Why would you want to go through this again with him If he was the one to break up with you. You are in love with him still. But is he in love with you? if you love him , tell him happy bday , if he is worth it dont give up , love can be up and down but sometimes it takes time to know that you miss what you dont have , maybe his mom bugged him so much that he gave up you guys , if i was you i wouldnt give up on him , not untill you know for sure its over ,good luck
