Hi everyone!

I am new here. But I need some advice. I met this guy on youtube (he is my subscriber) and he added me on myspace and gave me his msn address.

Recently, he flew all the way here to my country to work (and also to see me) and we met up. He is a very nice guy and I do like him very much. We have been meeting up and all that. But the problem is, how do I tell my parent's about this. Because everytime I want to tell them, they would bring up the issue that people on the net cannot be trusted (which I agree to a certain extent). I have known this guy for 6 months now and he is really nice. He hasn't forced himself upon me (unlike many of my ex-boyfriends whom I first met in real life). And I really like him. I have told a friend about this and she doesn't know how to go about it.

Maybe you shouldn't bring it up right away how you met. You could say you met through a friend. Gradually if you become a serious item then you can say how you met.

wal the first thing is definitely tell them because that is something that you don't want to lose is your parents trust because it is so hard to get back so i feel regardless of how the react to about what you are about to tell them just be straight forward and honest with them and that is all you can do and they either accept it or they don't but at least that is something that you have got off your chest and you don't have to carry that weight around no more..

When my daughter was 20, she met a "nice guy" on the net, left home to live with him in Taylor MI, he was ok intil he lost his job. Then he turned into a dead beat. She is 25 now. She now has 2 kids left him and is in such disaree I don't know if she'll ever make it out of this mess. I keep asking her to come home so her family can help her, but she has a decent job she dosen't want to give up and she likes the town she lives in. But life is so hard for her.
