Friend annoying me on myspace?

i have a new friend who's very into myspace. alot of my closest friends are very sharp and quick witted, this friend is a guy i met at college, he's a little clingy, and makes immature comments on every single picture in my myspace. he's not quite as bad in person, but he is a little immature. i really don't mean to be a snob about it, but i think he's annoying my other friends. he tried requesting my one close friend, she denyed him twice because she doesn't accept people she doesn't know. i know for a fact she would NOT like him, so when he mentioned it to me, i explained roxy isn't very social. i feel like that should have been enough, but then i see he commented a pic of her tonight saying "he wants to meet her and be her friend and we should all hang out" if she reads this, it will creep her out, and i don't like him looking into all my friends. he also mentioned a comment i left someone MONTHS ago. so he he must read through ALL my comments. how can i ask him to stop this?

If this guy is creeping out your friends, they have the option of blocking him from viewing their page. Also, they can mark their profiles as "private" where only people on their friends list can view their page.

There is als a feature where in order to request an "add" is to enter their email address or their last name. If worse comes to worse...they can always report the user as abusing/harassing MySpace members. Good Luck!

Ha I'm dealing w/ a similar problem... I think the best way to handle something like that is just telling him in the nicest way possible that he's coming off a little too strong and he should step back a little and just b/c the two of you know each other doesn't mean he has to add every single one of your friends on myspace! If he keeps it up, delete him. :)

Those friends suck, don't they? Yeah, they can be fun and a good person, but they're immature and a bit of a stalker... I know what it's like.

Perhaps you could tell him to quit stalking you in a half joking/half serious tone, and he might get the picture.

You and your friends can block him or make your profile private so he can't stalk you and your friends anymore, or just slowly stop talking and hanging out with him until he figures out you guys "lost interest" in each other. Something has to work. It is kind of sad and you might feel bad about it, but he's being pretty strange, and immature people aren't easy to deal with all the time.

Besides, he could end up literally stalking you. That kind of happened to me, and boy was it awful.

Or have your friends just leave the friend request alone. Don't approve or deny it. That always worked for me.

a guy that is a friend of one of my best friendps on myspace added me, so i left a comment saying thanks for the add and what's up? and he answered, nothing and told me i was a "cutie"...so i told him "thanks...haven't really heard that much"and he answered, "oh, well, it's true, and i like your eyes too" so i proceed to say thanks and ask where he found me to add me...and i haven't gotten a reply yet.

No. It sounds as thought you should delete him from your friends list, and consider blocking his account. If he is that much older than you and "in a relationship", he could be a predator. Take your precautions.

I would definitely not get involved with this guy, but he sounds like he's just flirting with you right now. Sleazy as that is, if he's in a relationship, it's pretty harmless as far as you're concerned. Yes, you're thinking to much into this. Also, 29 is a tad too old for a girl who can't even drink. I'd forget about this guy. If you want to flirt online, that's no biggie but anything further (if he suggests you meet up) I would stay away from. I would assume he "found you" by clicking through your friend's friends. That's the "awesome" thing about myspace: there is no way to make it non-personal. There's a LOT about myspace that is not safe, simply because it is not regulated and many people act like they personally know all the people who view their page;.

If it worries you, set your preferences so that you have to approve someone before you're friends, and make your myspace private.

Not to seem rude, but you sound a little like a slut. It's okay. I like sluts, sometimes. Have you wondered why he's telling you he's going to break up with his girl for you? You're his back-up. Because if you say no, he'll just stay with his girl. I've slept with other people's girlfriends so I'm not judging you. I probably way worse than you are. But this guy doesn't value you one bit. He thinks you're a whore cuz you've been with his other friends and he knows that you have a thing for him. It would be different if he actually broke up with her then tried to date you. He could just hook up with you and not break up with his girl after all. When you have him, you might actually not want him down the line anyway. About This Guy...?

Yeah, guy problems...of course! I liked this guy, right?...Of course. Well he asked my friend two times about 2-3 months ago if I liked him. First time she said no, second time she said yes. But before she gave him any answers, the guy was ignoring me ever since he broke up with is girlfriend and he found out that I had a boyfriend. This was also about 2-3 months ago.The only thing I mentioned was if she broke up with him in which she did. That's when he started to ignore me. He doesn't talk to me anymore, but my friend says he glanced at me a couple of times on the bus today. I wrote him a note about three weeks ago (I was going to talk instead but it didn't happen), but he never wrote me back. He says hi on myspace and that's about it. Just when I think I'm finally getting over him, I THINK I might..still like him. Suggestions? Anything is much appreciated. K, thanks =)

It can't it's just a website and myspace has to be responsible because they're a big business now. Websites can set up some nasty cookies and scripts but they're easy to get rid of and don't do much.

P2P software can cause you to get a virus but the only one i've ever seen that has a virus contained in the software is KaZaa which uses a trojan variant, Run I Hate Spyware by Sunbelt and see KaZaa raise all kinds of alarms. LimeWire does not contain viruses as such in itself but getting a virus from someone ON a p2p is very possible because some people will hide viruses within the file you're downloading. You can get rid if these with McAffe or Norton just keep it up to date as most all new viruses are copies of old ones. Adware and Spyware will cause your system's speed to drop faster than Paris Hilton's thong.

There was a virus spread through myspace called the Myspace Virus back in July she may have had that. Bad Hackers (there are good and bad hackers) attacked MySpace because of it's popularity .
