me and this guy like eachother a lot, however we live far away and im going to college near him in 4 months. he gets teased a lot because his cousins and friends call him gay. one time his friends called me, and then the guy came on the phone and in the background i heard someone say something about "u talking to your gf?" after that, he wouldnt really talk to me, maybe because he was embarassed? then his cousin was making fun of him on myspace about how he gets drunk after 2 shots, so the guy i like wrote back.."get ready for tonight, were getting some nice *****"..and then another guy asked what he was doing that night and he wrote "prob getting laid and drunk out of my mind."
why did he say these things? to fit in and not be made fun of anymore?

He said it to fit in with the guys. He doesn't want his guy friends to think that he is a sissy. He thinks that it makes him look more manly if he says that he is doing stuff that all the other guys are doing. If these other guys were real friends, they wouldn't make fun of him for talking to you and they wouldn't pressure him to do stuff that he doesn't want to do. His friends sound like trouble. Does this boyfriend always treat you like this when his friends are around? If the answer is yes, than you need to have a talk with you man. Tell him that you are not going to put up with being disrespected anymore. Either he will change for the better, or his friends will turn him into an alcoholic man whore. If these guys make fun of him while he is on the phone with you, whose to say that they are not trying to go out their way to hook him up with some other girl too? I also assume that you don't want to date a guy that talks about getting laid and drunk. You probably want to date someone more mature than that. I feel that it is time for a serious heart to heart with your man. If he can't tell his friends to respect his relationship with you and he can't seem to think for himself, then end this relationship and get yourself a real man that can think for himself and that will make you a priority over his friends. either you have misjudged his character, or its like a private joke thing, or the pressure of ppl calling him gay has effected him n made him think he needs to talk like this to prove a point. If I were you I would ask him straight out coz its not like his character...maybe spin it off as a casual jokey question ie. "what dya mean gettin laid? lol" n see what he says. Gd Luck x

Most likely. Guys can't handle being called gay- Guys have that ego that they have to protect, ya know. His friends and cousin are probably just jealous because he can get dates and they probably can't even get a girl to look at them. I would worry about it, besides who cares what they think.
