Meeting someone on myspace?

say you send a message to a person on myspace and they respond. then you guys get to talkin. what are some good ways to eff up the conversation? as a women, what kind of things do you want / not want to hear? what would make you decide to no longer talk to the person?

Hitting on me, concluding that if I write back I'm automatically interested in a sexually charged conversation... pretty much that has anything to do with sex...

when a guy starts talking about sexual things that I am not interested in, then they get blocked

How desperate do you have to be to actually do that crap? Doesn't anyone know how to find someone in their own town anymore? Geeze, that's as lame as finding a two dollar whore.

You just need to be yourself and tell the truth. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. It's too difficult to tell what a good default answer would be. You can look at her myspace profile and see what things you have in common. Talk about those and things that you don't have in common skip. Try that first. I think that would be a great start :)

Permanent reference to sex is a no no as you guys are want to do. Just be natural and interesting - funny goes down well too. Don't try too hard.

I've frankly never, ever heard anyone meeting anyone of substance on the Myspaces. Or other blogging sites online, comparatively. But as a female, I'd suggest your asking her questions regarding her own interests. You'd talk about the exact same things you would, if you were speaking with her in person. Women will hold up about 90% of the conversation. This will take some of the pressure off you. Let her do the 'chatting;' it relieves the obligation to be witty and charming on your part and she will think that you're genuinely interested in what she has to say which will work in your favor. Good luck but for your own sake, proceed with caution.
