If i go on the internet and get a picture of a guy or girl and i want to use it on myspace and pretend its me... is it illegal? If its not.... I searched pictures and some say this:

This image may be subject to copyright.

Does that mean i can use it?

Yes it is illegal. Pretending to be someone that you are not even in the form of using their picture without their WRITTEN consent is considered Identity Theft, and is a FELONY.

Copyright means you CANNOT use it, it belongs to someone else. But if it is not a picture of you, you have no right to use it.... whether it is copyrighted or not.

If it has a copyright, yes. You're not supposed to do it, but that doesn't stop the countless amounts of myspaces with pictures saying they are Jesus and George Bush.
