Okay now, I have a myspace... and i was trying to get my crush to get one, but she wont... she says because shes scared because her friend once got raped from myspace, after meeting up with the guy... i just would like to hear a nice debate :]

your crushes friend probably was lying or maybe her friend was not using myspace responsibly and thats why she got raped.

i have a myspace and i find it alot of fun, but only add people if you know them, because if you add randoms then they might use your info and photos for no good.

1) make sure the person has a numerous amount of pictures of themselves for the person may be pretending to be a boy/girl and have fake images

2)make sure the person is at your age limit.

3)if you meet. meet at a public place such as a mall or a store where there are witnesses

I enjoy having Myspace because it helps me keep in touch with friends. Well, my profile is on private. So no one but my friends can view it. You can either approve or deny a person on Myspace if they add you. I think that meeting up with someone on Myspace is risky..their is many psycho people out there. Just keep your Myspace profile on private and it will be okay.

then no1 can view it unless they are an approved friend. dont add any1 u dont kno. its just common sence. if you dont know them, dont talk 2 them. also, dont put ur address, phone number, or city u liv in. maybe, if she feels safer doing so, dont put ur real country u live in even. one more... dont put ur real name. if ur name is georgia, 4 example, put ur name as geeoorgiiaa so if sum1 tried 2 search ur name they wont b able 2. another, dont add ur school and dont put ur last name. tell her all this, and maybe she will consider. coz yer a girl got raped or sumthin from myspace, but she was stupid enuf 2 go meet a stranger, let alone add him and chat 2 him in the 1st place. myspace is really safe if u actually want it 2 b

tell her 2 make her myspace about chatting and networkin with friends and ppl at ur school and not as a way 2 meet or chat 2 new ppl. coz myspace is a fun way 2 express urself and chat 2 friends
