I like a guy from school but he doesnt know about it... now my friend just told him that he's cute on myspace and Im kinda sad becuase she gets every guy that she wants... she didnt like him before and then when I told her that I do she started liking him too! I dont want her to think that I'm stoping her from going out but I think that what she did is totally mean! what would you do?

If I were u i would have said " u know what i think u should back of because i like him too"" Maybe shes more open and that why she gets every guy she wants, i mean shes not a S*L*U*T but just more open to confrontation...... maybe u shouold be more open i mean why couldn't u say hey ur cute instead of her?? And she knows ur not stoping her, but now i think that a guy isn't worth this...... and i don't think shes acting mean i just think that she wans honest with her feelings... If he was ur boyfriend and she took him away from u she'd be a total S*L*U*T!!!!

It's sadly a part of life, and many a friendship has been lost because of this type of behaviour. I wouldn't put too much effort into this friendship, in my opinion.

this is similar to what happened between two of my girl friends, one had liked this guy for almost a year, then this other girl who was her bestfriend started going out with him, you are right, you should stop her, cause that is messed up and not fair to you

Does she know you like the guy? If she does, explain to her that "bros before hos" applies to girls too and that your relationship ought to mean more to her than some high/middle school fling. Be calm but firm. Tell her it's not acceptable.

First of all, if you feel like your "friend" is taking away all the guys that you like, then you shouldn't be friends with her in the first place. She seems like the type of girl that wants to beat you at your own game and she won't be generous enough to let you pursue a guy. So, drop her.
Secondly, if there's a boy you like, why don't YOU say that he's cute on MySpace. The worst that can happen is he doesn't talk to you. If he doesn't talk to you, then he isn't worth it. There are plenty of guys out there. Don't worry about going out or dating so much.

omg, that is just wrong! I'd hate it if my best friend went out with the guy I liked. I'm in your same shoes, because my best friend always gets the guys. I met this one guy and we became friends. I told my best friend about him and she started teasing me, saying "i see love in ur future!" or "maybe u two will get together!" i admited that i liked him, and then wen i introduced them to each other, i found out they started talking to each other more and more without me. then one day, i found out they were officially dating. i was so upset, and it really hurt....:'(
but what i suggest to you, is to tell your friend about how you feel. it could be on myspace (i used myspace to tell my friend. lol) and *sighs* i had a feeling she was kind of mad at me...but at the time i didn't care because i was mad at her too, but i brought up my courage and told her how i felt and even tho she got mad at me at first, she said that she was sorry. but sadly, they're still together, and he doesn't kno anything about how i feel about him. but i still talk to him on IM and everything....but i dont see him anymore cuz he moved :'( but we still talk and we're closer than ever in a "best friend" way. i wish we could be closer still, but i'm afraid that if he and my bff do break up, and i go out with him, then it will just break our friendship. so i'd suggest talking to your friend about EVERYTHING going on right now. best of luck!
